In a tough battle of 5 teams spanning over 7 days, The Rising Stars emerged as the champions of the first season of Gadarwara Cricket League on 24th February, 2024.

Shri Kamlesh Soni, Executive Director, Gadarwara was the Chief Guest for the event. Shri Probal Mundle, CGM (O&M), Shri Rajiv Kumar Sinha, GM (Maintenance), Shri Prasanta Kumar Jena, GM (Operation) as well as Smt. Anu Soni, President, Avni Mahila Mandal were also present at the event.

The final match was held at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium, NTPC Gadarwara from 7 pm onwards. The event was kickstarted by a friendly match between ED-11 led by Shri Kamlesh Soni, Executive Director, Gadarwara vs CGM-11 led by Probal Mundle, CGM (O&M) as all the GMs and AGMs gathered to show their love and support towards cricket.

The nail-biting final match was held between Burner Boys and The Rising Stars, out of which The Rising Stars emerged as the winner of the inaugural season of the Gadarwara Cricket League.
